At it's 75 Annual meeting on June 8th in New York City, the New York State Society of Professional Engineers presented it's coveted Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award to the Cornell University Utilities Department Lake Souce Cooling Project. This award is given to acknowledge accomplishments of the engineering profesison by recognizing outstanding engineering achievements that have captured the innovative and dynamic spirit of a profession dedicated to public service. Only projects located in New York State and designed by U.S. firms with offices in New York State are eligible for nomination.
W.S. (Lanny) Joyce, P.E., Project Manager and Tim Peer, Heat Exchange Facility Project Engineer accepted the award on Cornell's behalf.
