WELCOME to the Division of Facilities Services Kyoto Task Team!

The Kyoto Task Team was chartered by then Vice President and CFO Hal Craft in 2001 to lead the university's efforts to reduce energy use and carbon dioxide emissions and strive toward the Kyoto Protocol's goals for the United States here at Cornell.

The Kyoto Task Team worked with the Kyoto NOW! student group to develop energy savings practices, facilitate energy savings in new buildings, and educate campus users to the need to conserve energy. It was disbanded in 2007 as a  larger  effort toward energy awareness was instituted and became the Presidents CAP plan.
