Case Study #7: Kimball-Thurston Hall

-
Scope of Work
· Recommissioned the existing mechanical and control systems to optimize overall system performance.
- Installed PIR occupancy sensors, replaced existing pneumatic controls with electronic controls, replace existing oversized variable air volume boxes with properly sized boxes, and programmed the controls to reduce excessive air change rates or enable occupied and unoccupied modes of operation.
- Installed particle monitors in the cleanroom to reduce the recirculation air change rates as a function of particle count in real-time.
